As the neighborhood descends into a state of emergency surrounding evacuation, those involved also grapple with their own internal conflicts. Bomb disposal expert Lane is considered unflappable-until she is suddenly personally affected: Her mother, Margit, lives in the house right next to where the bomb was found, and she refuses to leave her apartment.
