Det Gule Palæ - Eine Rettungsgeschichte

The signal box of the Copenhagen goods station, affectionately known as "Det Gule Palæ" ("The Yellow Palace"), became famous in 1975 through the film "Olsen-Banden på sporet" ("The Olsen Gang On The Track"). In 2014, the building, which is over a hundred years old, was to be pulled down, but German and Danish Olsen Gang fans and railway enthusiasts knew how to prevent this. The documentary by the Olsenbandenfanclub Deutschland traces the rescue story as well as the spectacular move from Copenhagen to Gedser and lets protagonists, actors and craftsmen have their say.
