Die Tunisreise

8.8 / 10 | 1h 16m | Tunisia
2007 | Documentary
Links two artistic trajectories located in different eras. The first concerns Paul Klee, whose trip to Tunis in 1914 marked his work considerably. The second is Tunisian director and painter Nacer Khemir, who is inspired by Paul Klee's work. The film shows the reconciliation of the possibilities offered by the image and the unveiling of the link between two artists. Nacer Khemir undertakes, almost a hundred years later, the same journey as Paul Klee and returns on his past, on the history and culture of his country.
