DOWNTOWN DREAM follows five people in a Rust Belt town struggling to reinvent their lives and their dreams during the worst economic collapse since the Great Depression. It's the story of typical Americans in a typical American place grappling with the question on everybody's lips today: How do we make it in America anymore?
