A drunken Shyam arrives in a village where an old lady adopts him as his son and he considers her dumb and abnormal daughter Chandra as her sister.Shyam meets Radha a girl of lower cast and both fall in love he gets a job as estate manager in village where Megha to starts to like him and Radha sacrifices his love.The villagers start to give respect to Shyam in village due to the changes he made in village.But a jealous Santaji molests Chandra who becomes pregnant and holds Shyam responsible for it.
