Helena is in a coma - yet she takes part in the everyday lives of her friends. The bedside stories of her visitors create for Helena a reality of dreams. So she follows closely as her shy brother Philipp ventures out into his first working experience and ladies' man Tobias learns about the value of love. But Helena's haunted past gives those stories a new twist: In her dreams, adolescence is afflicted by a mutative disease! With some help from Doctor Behrendt, Helena's friends put their abilities to good use - while she herself is affected in a way she dare not speak of. Can she get to the bottom of it all and return to life before her time runs out?
