June celebrates her 25th birthday with an existential crisis. HI MOM is a fragmentary, heart-on-its-sleeve depiction of a young woman beginning to question everything about her life/life choices. Full of bad decisions, too many cigarettes, and lots of manic phone calls to mom, the film is a love letter to our 20's.
