My Mother's Secret

Young high school teacher Lori Colson is pregnant, knowing she is adopted, she and her husband decide to go back to her roots. In trying to discover more of her biological family history she uncovers her father in prison for killing her grandfather. He claims he is innocent and persistent she decides to do some investigating to discover the truth. Her biological mother Evelyn Wells is weak and frightened, but refuses to tell what she knows. So who really killed Lori's grandfather and why is Evelyn so terrified she is willing to kill herself or let Lori die rather than reveal the truth about what really happened back all those years ago?
