The Sweet Girl at Ancol Bridge

A Betawi woman, Mariah, falls in love with a man who is half-Indonesian, half-Dutch. Neither family approves of the relationship, as it crosses boundaries of race, religion and social status. Mariah leaves her family, resulting in tragedy.
