Welcome back, gentlemen! Let's talk about the Ruger 10/22, a gun that is dear to all of our hearts. It is a good entry-level weapon for introducing new shooters to the fundamentals of the sport. It stands out because of the affordable cartridges, low-recoil, and robust build. This was also my first firearm, as it is for most shooters. I've fired the rifle at contests while hunting, and on occasion just to let off steam. And I'm confident that most gun lovers can relate to it.
For those who don't know much about the 10/22, it's a semi-automatic rifle made by American gunmaker Ruger & Co. The gun has been in production since its debut in 1964. This fact alone demonstrates the high caliber and effectiveness it provides. When I bought this gun in 2010, it cost somewhere between $150 and $170; however, today, prices range from $350 to $400.
