The story revolves around the legendary Chaphekar brothers, the armed revolutionaries fighting for freedom against the British Raj in Pune, India. Set in 1897 pre independence India, the Chaphekar brothers plotted and assassinated the tyrannical British officer Rand for his mishandling of plague in the city causing death and misery for the locals.
