Marianela is a sweet, loving, and respectful young woman who lives with a deep secret that torments her life- her forbidden love for her cousin Emmanuel. As a young girl, he was her first crush being her super hero whenever she needed saving from her bullies. As a plus size girl, she never received the attention that other girls get but with Emmanuel she was just as important and special as anyone else. Because she knew that this love could never be, she sought to forget Emmanuel after having lost her both of her parents tragically and living away in boarding school throughout her adolescence. As she comes closer to legal age, Marianela's inheritance is almost at her disposal which her aunt Fedra refuses to lose. This fight begins a family war and many of the members begin to pick sides of who they will stand beside.
