Over the course of just ten weeks, the financially struggling residents of Aldergrove will attempt to raise their collective net worth by a staggering $1 million dollars. Guided by co-hosts and financial experts: Bruce Sellery- the founder of Moolala, a personal finance training company with a mission to inspire people to get a handle on their money so they can live the life they want. and Dr. Joti Samra- R.Psych. an innovator in the area of psychological health and wellness in the workplace. Her research catalyzes fundamental improvements in the psychological health and safety of work environments throughout Canada. Assisted by a team of Money Detectives, the neighbourhood will strive to earn or save $100,000 a week in a series of epic community and individual challenges related to food, housing, transportation and other costs. If they succeed, the financial lessons theyve learned along with a chance at a weekly prize of $10,000 and a grand prize of $100,000 will change their lives forever. So much money. So much at stake.
