Ribbons for Caring A Charity Special TV Event

"RIBBONS FOR CARING - A CHARITY TV SPECIAL FOR SUSAN G. KOMEN" TO BE BROADCAST AT 2 PM OCTOBER 31 ON KCAL 9 Los Angeles, CA... To help conclude National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, KCAL 9 will air a special encore edition of Susan G. Komen® Los Angeles County's first-ever special television event, "Ribbons for Caring." The special event was held to raise critical funds for Komen's Treatment Assistance Program, which provides financial relief for people going through breast cancer treatment. The special one-hour show will feature highlights from the original show and will be broadcast on October 31 at 2 PM. It will be televised on Los Angeles station KCAL 9. This special encore provides people a second opportunity to enjoy the special performances and to donate to Komen to help ensure people facing breast cancer today are able to get the care they need. There is still time to help Komen meet its goal to raise $500,000 to meet the immediate needs of patients in Los Angeles County, through the organization's Treatment Assistance Program.
