Spring 1989, the provincial town of Kazimov. Nina Golubeva is finishing school with honors, dreaming of becoming a fashion designer. However, her first romance ends up with pregnancy and loneliness. Nina moves to the unwelcoming Moscow in the early 1990-s, the most troublesome time of the modern history. The naive and romantic girl learns how to fend for herself.
